highlights from Milan Design Week

During Milan Design Week, Cappellini presented CARNET DE VOYAGE, an exhibition curated by Giulio Cappellini that explored the brand identity through an ideal journey across cultures and design languages. The project reaffirmed the company’s approach to design as an ongoing dialogue between generations, places, forms, and materials, giving rise to visionary collections that transcend geographical and temporal boundaries.

The exhibition framed the 2026 collection, a synthesis of design innovation, material research, and artistic identity.

Alongside the revival and enhancement of iconic reissued pieces, new sculptural designs were introduced, capable of engaging with architecture and transforming furniture into narrative elements.

Cappellini continues its search for young talent — one of the brand’s core values — through the NEXT VOICES project, showcasing at the Spazio Cappellini Milano showroom in Via Borgogna the ironic Tom armchair by Reggy St. Surin and the brutalist Beam collection by Marquel R. Williams. This initiative brings together a new generation of designers, free from constraints and guided by an authentic, personal vision.
