The Minotti Bézier “Dining” Table, designed by Marcio Kogan and Studio MK27 as part of the 2026 Collection, represents the natural evolution of the Bézier seating system, from which it draws and further develops the collection’s distinctive formal language. Inspired by the legacy of Pierre Bézier and his renowned parametric curve, the table translates the controlled fluidity of that mathematical principle into a sculptural, harmonious and contemporary presence designed specifically for conviviality. A lounge version with more compact dimensions is also available.
Description
Design Concept
Kogan conceived the Bézier Dining Table as a piece that consolidates the identity of the Bézier system and extends its organic vocation into the realm of shared eating and conversation. The sinuous profile of the top is not only an aesthetic intention but also a functional principle: the shape actively fosters conversation and visual interaction among those seated around it, transforming what Minotti describes as a truly inclusive setting from geometry into lived experience. Each junction in the table’s curve is carefully calibrated, each variation in radius precisely measured.
The Base
The base assumes the shape of a smooth, compact volume that can be configured as a single or double element depending on the size of the top selected, ensuring structural proportion and compositional stability in each version. The interplay between this compact, resolved base and the expansive organic top is the core visual tension of the piece: a balance between sculptural strength and visual lightness that Kogan describes as the project’s defining equilibrium.
Top Material Options
The organic top is available in marble and stone versions, distinguished by a rounded edge that highlights the continuity of the line and the tactile quality of the surface, and in a wood variant that expresses lightness and formal purity, emphasising the precision of the piece’s form rather than the material weight.
