Description

Modern is a contemporary and adaptable system of containers. It has been designed to seamlessly integrate into spaces through its simple and essential components, characterized by precise shapes, impeccable finishes, and a sleek design. The concept is straightforward: the integration of pure geometric shapes into a space. Each element measures 400 mm in both vertical and horizontal directions. The unique 45° connection between the sides and the top elevates the quality of the element’s shape, eliminating the need for a cover panel.

Load-it is a versatile book shelving system that serves various daily functions. It consists of slim L-shaped shelves crafted from durable, wax-finished steel, available in white or special finishes like burnished brass, grigio porfido, or rosso antico. The shelves are offered in 1000 and 2000 mm widths. Complementing the product are customizable wall panels in different sizes and finishes, including matte and glossy lacquer, wood from Porro’s Collection, mirror, wax-finished steel, burnished brass, grigio porfido, rosso antico, fabric from the collection or custom fabrics, as well as canneté, natural, or black stained options. Steel sheet bookends matching the shelf finishes are also included. Load-it stands out for its compatibility with the Modern system, expanding the possibilities for compositions and uses of this minimalist bookcase.

Enhancing the clever design of Load-it is its lighting feature: the bookshelves come with a dedicated spotlight that can be positioned anywhere along the electrified profile under the shelf using magnetic connection. This setup provides a technical and museum-like illumination for objects on the shelves by precisely directing the light beam. The lighting concept ensures that the source remains nearly invisible.
