JOAN, THE PURSUIT OF THE ESSENTIAL

A new upholstered system expands the Poliform living area collection. Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, Joan embodies the authentic essence of comfort: pure forms, minimalist design and generous padding create an extremely welcoming system which is informal yet elegant through its linearity. Inspired by the shape of a cushion, Joan reinterprets softness through essential volumes with perfectly balanced proportions, enhanced by tailored details such as the side profiles of the armrests, offered tone-on-tone or in a bold contrasting colour.
Joan creates areas for relaxation and socialising that adapt to different spaces and needs thanks to its extreme modularity. It is composed of curved and linear elements, chaise-longue configurations, modules with high or low armrests, poufs and an armchair, generating endless configurations in synergy with the dynamism of contemporary interior design.
The collection is completed by the eponymous coffee tables, conceived as sculptural objects to be placed alongside the sofa or as centre-of-the-room pieces. The purity that shapes the system is echoed in these accessories, with equally essential forms available in various sizes and materials such as steel, wood and lacquer. Joan interprets a new dimension of living, where comfort and style go hand in hand.
