Design Inspiration & Philosophy

Triptyque draws inspiration from traditional textile craftsmanship, translating the delicate detail of sartorial hem stitching into exterior rug form. The subdivision into three identical portions creates visual rhythm, with the interplay between yarn and warp generating a motif that brings woven artistry to open air environments. The design contributes to creating inviting atmosphere beyond the walls of the house, enabling exterior spaces to feel like open air living rooms with all the typical warmth of interior projects.

Construction & Craftsmanship

Each Triptyque rug is hand woven on looms in geographical areas specialised in carpet weaving, with socially responsible production taking place without the use of child labour. The 100% polypropylene construction delivers complete weather resistance, with the synthetic fibre yarn maintaining its soft texture and elegant appearance through extended exposure. The intertwined fringes that close the warp always characterise the 3 metre side, adding an artisanal finishing touch to the technical construction.

Maintenance & Performance

Triptyque rugs require straightforward care appropriate to exterior conditions. Vacuum and rinse clean with water, including using a garden hose for larger surface cleaning. The construction specifically excludes pressure washer use to preserve the hand woven integrity. The rugs air dry naturally, with the polypropylene materials resisting degradation and maintaining dimensional stability through weather exposure.
