DIARIO: LAYERS OF MEMORY

H2O, armchair by Studiopepe, President Senior, desk by Studio G&R, Saki Elite, armchairs by Oscar and Gabriele Buratti

A home office that interprets the contemporary home as an intimate, layered space, where memory and design merge into a sophisticated language that invites reflection. Eclecticism becomes a design expression of time: a common thread weaving together historic, vintage, contemporary, and newly conceived pieces in a harmonious balance across different eras, shaping interiors of timeless elegance and understated refinement.

DIARIO FABRIC

Diario fabric

The Diario fabric, which upholsters the Saki Elite armchairs designed by Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, evolves from the eponymous chair and is distinguished by its three-legged structure. It becomes a surface rich in visual suggestions, where architectural motifs, landscape views, and organic elements engage in a dialogue, evoking the brand's heritage, its connection to Lake Como, and the company's identity.

Depictions of iconic products are subtly woven into a landscape suspended between reality and imagination, emerging as discreet presences within an immersive, dreamlike scene. Diario unfolds as a narrative celebrating the brand's history through ethereal, almost fairy-tale atmospheres—like an enchanted forest where nature and design merge into a poetic, imaginative universe.

PRESIDENT SENIOR

The President Senior desk, originally introduced in 1971 and continuously in production ever since, brings an authentic expression of the brand's heritage and becomes the focal point of the project. Its new bronze glass finish and stainless steel details establish a harmonious dialogue between past and present. What began as a purely structural necessity, the joint has evolved into a defining element of the design language, shaping an aesthetic in which form and function are inseparably intertwined.

H2O

Completing the composition, the H2O upholstered armchair by Studiopepe, upholstered in supple leather in a soft nude blush tone, introduces a contemporary tactile and sensory dimension. In dialogue with the space, the Mirta wall sconces by Giorgio Reggiori—original 1960s pieces—add a further layer of memory and nostalgia, enriching the scene with greater depth and a precious sense of temporal stratification.

An interior project that expresses a refined continuity between materiality, heritage, and contemporary interpretation—conceived for a home office envisioned as a conceptual space and a place for thought, writing, and vision.
