Once again in April, we bid farewell to Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone after presenting our latest innovations and sharing with designers, brands, organizers, collaborators, media, and friends an essential appointment in the birthplace of design.
The sand, muse of ephemeral architecture and an iconic element in the imagination of Gandia Blasco Group since always, inspired the setting in which we unveiled the new collections of our brands. Designed by Søren Rose with organic and reusable materials such as wood, natural fibers, and stone to minimize environmental impact, the space captured the essence of the outdoors and enhanced the context of use of GANDIABLASCO, GAN and Diabla designs. “Our goal is to honor the exceptional craftsmanship and detailed industrial work carried out by Gandia Blasco Group and to represent its fundamental values through a sanctuary of minimalist elegance and natural harmony.” Søren Rose In different rooms with semi-transparent vegetal fabric walls and on rectangular wooden platforms at different heights, designs created by creative studios and leading figures in international design were exhibited. Among them, Søren Rose, José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, Francesco Meda, David Quincoces, Alejandra Gandia-Blasco, Made Studio, Odosdesign, Helena Rohner, Daria Zinovatnaya. Within the space we also hosted the novelties of Möwee, a brand belonging to the distribution network of Gandia Blasco Group, designed by Yonoh Studio, Héctor Serrano and Bandada Studio.
Semi-industrial design and maximum durability in contemporary environments for enjoying outdoor life
The Mediterranean lifestyle of GANDIABLASCO conquered Salone del mobile Milano with the participation of Søren Rose and their new collection ARENA, Francesco Meda & David Quincoces and their extension of the award-winning ONSEN design family, Odosdesign and their original accessories for the iconic ENSOMBRA parasol, Made Studio and their new pieces for the BOSC series, and Alejandra Gandía-Blasco and the new versions of the IRIS tables. Special mention goes to the president and creative director of the company, José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, who presented the spectacular CONO, the innovative DAYBED 4.0 and MERENDERO 4.0 Outdoor Spaces, and the latest additions to the GBMODULAR construction system.
Contemporary craftsmanship for indoor and outdoor spaces crafted in India with natural and recycled fibers
With GAN we introduced new proposals based on the value of handmade techniques and collaboration with designers and creatives driven by the desire to revitalize craftsmanship. Embracing natural fibers and recycled materials like rPET, the brand has collaborated this year with Helena Rohner, Daria Zinovatnaya, José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, Mayice Studio, and Alejandra Gandía-Blasco to develop the WEAVE, LOKO, LA GERIA-LANZAROTE, LINES, and NOMAD collections respectively.
Creative attitude to adapt to alternative outdoor lifestyles
With its casual style, Diabla landed in Milan with creations that creatively address design adapted to new outdoor lifestyles, such as the new VALENTINA UP chair by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco, creative director of the firm.
