The Maehwa Chandelier by Giopato & Coombe is a stunning tribute to the quiet beauty of nature, inspired by the delicate plum blossoms of Korea. In a Seoul park, the sight of blossoms evoked a profound sense of serenity and connection to the natural world. This fleeting yet powerful moment shaped the design of the Maehwa collection, named after the Korean word for “plum blossom”
In the Maehwa collection each element – the brass structure, the glass spheres, and the light source, interacts effortlessly with all the others.
Between nature and abstraction, searching for a compositional balance between the elements, it is possible to play with extension and presence across space, with modular custom-made creations. Glass sphere shades are also available for customizable options.
