GamFratesi’s product designs often draw inspiration from nature, as seen in many of their creations. For KOYORI, the design duo have designed products with references to a cat, such as the Miau series, and to branches and leaves in the Edaha chair. This time, the Uribo stools—Uribo meaning baby wild boar in Japanese—continue this nature-inspired approach. GamFratesi note, “for us, it is natural to connect these products and design with nature. Wood itself is a natural material. We can give the product a personality by shaping them into different designs.”
Like classical, often primitive stools, the Uribo stools are available in two heights. Featuring clean lines and a simple aesthetic, they are versatile additions to any interior.
