Thank you for visiting our stand during Salone del Mobile 2023.
At a new location in Hall 4, Maruni showcased the new products from the MARUNI COLLECTION 2023 by all three designers: a new version of the HIROSHIMA armchair by Naoto Fukasawa made of ash wood; additions to the Lightwood series by Jasper Morrison including a brand-new desk and seat variation; T1 task chair also by Morrison that enriched T&O collection; wider choices for the EN chairs and table by Cecilie Manz, in a completely wooden version, and new subtle colors for both chairs and tables.

Following several years of collaboration with Artistic Director Naoto Fukawasa and an invitation extended to Jasper Morrison, Maruni sought Cecilie Manz to infuse ‘colors’ into the Maruni Collection. Her design process, deeply connected to colors, is eloquently expressed by Manz:
“An object can change shape and appearance completely when changing the color. When starting a design process, the idea is often born in a certain color, a certain atmosphere.”
In the next chapter, we will explore Cecilie Manz’s unique design approach as showcased in her first solo exhibition held in Japan in 2023.
