On the occasion of ICFF, Porro is pleased to welcome architects, journalists, and clients to its first monobrand showroom in the United States, inaugurated last November. Located in the vibrant NoMad District at the corner of 31 East 31st Street and Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10016, the showroom represents a significant milestone in Porro’s decade-long partnership with West | Out East—a renowned design destination celebrated for its warm, modern furnishings and accessories, with locations in New York, the Hamptons, Connecticut, and Miami.
Porro is protagonist in NY within Casa Italiana, a new exhibition dedicated to the excellence of Italian design organized by Interni magazine, to celebrate Italian design. Curated by Paola Navone / Studio Otto and promoted in collaboration with ITA – Italian Trade Agency, the exhibition will be held from May 13 to 20 at the ICE headquarters at 33 E 67th St., New York, as part of NYCxDesign and ICFF.
The Art of Simplicity Exhibition @ The Gallery – Graye Los Angeles
Porro’s special event celebrating Italian design and the pursuit of simplicity comes to a close in mid-May at The Gallery – Graye, housed within the showroom of Porro’s longstanding retail partner in Los Angeles. The exhibition marks a significant moment in Porro’s centennial celebrations, which began last February with a multimedia installation by Sfelab. This immersive presentation juxtaposes Porro’s contemporary furniture collection with the work of Bruno Munari—the visionary artist and designer whose playful curiosity has left a lasting imprint on the history of art and design.
