Acerbis Florian folding tables

Description

Florian, a design originally crafted by Vico Magistretti in 1989, has been reintroduced in 2021 from the Acerbis archives. This innovative piece showcases Magistretti’s signature simplicity, featuring a lightweight, multi-level table supported by a collapsible structure inspired by a broom handle. When folded, it can be hung on the wall as a striking graphic display of circles and lines.

In the reinterpretation by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces, the Florian has been adapted to suit modern living spaces. The ash wood frame now folds smoothly and swiftly, thanks to a contemporary brass mechanism. The visual impact is enhanced with lacquered hues of mustard yellow, dark green, and brick red, making it a versatile addition to any contemporary home.
