57 is formed by multiple blown-glass spheres that come together to create an abstract cloud-like shape. Air pockets within a clear glass layer are sealed within a second layer of semitransparent glass, creating a multi-layered structure.
Description
The repeated heating and reshaping of this glass and air composition gives it its enigmatic quality. When the light is turned off, it looks like a solid mass, but when illuminated, it reveals a complex internal universe.
