Cappellini Orla swivel armchairs

Description

The Orla sofas and armchairs, designed by Jasper Morrison, blend classic and contemporary styles and have become a standout piece of modern design at the Tate Modern in London. With their soft, flowing lines, sleek shells, and plush cushions, the Orla series adds a touch of elegance to both home and commercial spaces.

The collection includes two and three-seater sofas, a rounded sofa (right or left), small or large armchairs (fixed and swivelling), as well as poufs. In 2019, a small two-seat sofa was added to the family.

The structure of Orla sofas and poufs is crafted from rigid composite polyurethane foam, poplar plywood inserts, and elastic belts, while the Orla armchairs feature a fixed or swivelling foam structure. All versions are padded with multi-density polyurethane foam and fibre.

The cover of the structure for armchairs and sofas is fixed but removable for the cushions, and is available in the fabrics and leathers of the collection. For the small sofa and small armchair, the cover is fixed for both the structure and cushions, which are also available in the fabrics and leathers from the collection.
