Minotti Belt dining chair
The Belt family, available in fabric or leather, is characterized by its unique design. It features a belt-like strip that wraps around the body of the seat, then breaks off and fastens at the front. In the leather version, the strip is sewn onto bonded leather to provide support and maintain consistent thickness. This process requires a high level of craftsmanship to follow the curved shape of the seat and keep the visible seams perfectly straight.
Description
The chair’s foam body forms a classic shell-like backrest that is both embracing and protective.
The seat sits on a die-cast aluminum base with a polished Brandy-colored anti-touch varnished finish, which complements the chair and, in the leather version, echoes the metal finishes of high-end leather bags.
The base is also available in dark brown stained Canaletto walnut or black lacquered open-pore flamed ash.
The Belt family includes a sofa, an armchair, a bergère with footstool, a smaller lounge armchair, and a dining chair.
