The Minotti Giulietta “Cord” Outdoor, designed by Inoda+Sveje as part of the 2026 Collection, is the exterior evolution of the Giulietta dining little armchair. It preserves the indoor piece’s formal restraint and translates it into a presence suited to open-air environments through two structural interpretations: a metal frame clad in high-density polyurethane with a gloss lacquer finish in warm, nature-inspired tones, and a version formed entirely in natural teak whose smooth, silky surfaces subtly reveal the joinery details typical of solid wood construction.

Design Concept
Inoda+Sveje’s approach to the Cord Outdoor version is consistent with the design principles of the indoor Giulietta: formal restraint, precision of proportion and an insistence on execution quality. The exterior adaptation prioritises materials suited to lasting performance in open-air conditions while maintaining the same cultivated airiness and quiet composure of the original. Minotti describes the result as understated sophistication, where durability becomes an aesthetic value and comfort is expressed with a measured gesture.
Polyurethane Lacquered & Natural Teak Versions
The lacquered version features a metal structure fully clad in high-density polyurethane, painted with a gloss lacquer in warm, material tones inspired by nature: an approach that combines solidity, protection and tactile quality suitable for exterior conditions. The natural teak version offers smooth, silky surfaces where the joinery details of solid wood construction are allowed to show clearly, giving the exterior version a handcrafted honesty consistent with the indoor piece’s timber character.
Polyester Cord Woven Backrest
The backrest is woven in polyester cord in a chequerboard pattern, introducing both a material and graphic dimension to the piece.
