Minotti Brutalist “Outdoor” table
The Minotti Brutalist “Outdoor”, designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri as part of the 2026 Collection, derives directly from the indoor Brutalist table and develops its architectural concept through materials and solutions suited to exterior use. Like its indoor counterpart, the design draws inspiration from Pier Luigi Nervi’s Palazzo del Lavoro in Turin, reinterpreting its structural strength and plastic tension in a version built for gardens, terraces and open-air hospitality settings.

Design Concept
Tagliaferri’s approach to the outdoor version maintains the cultural ambition of the indoor piece: a table that defines exterior space with a calibrated presence, balancing what Minotti describes as memory and concept sensitivity. The Brutalist Outdoor is not a simplified version of its indoor sibling but a genuine translation, where the same architectural references are expressed through materials chosen specifically for their performance and character in open-air conditions. Concrete and natural teak carry the same dialogue of mass and lightness as the original.
Concrete Base & Natural Teak Top
The outdoor version pairs the same irregular star-shaped concrete base as the indoor piece with a solid teak top in a natural finish and slatted detailing. The slatted construction introduces a lighter, more open surface than the solid indoor top, reflecting the exterior context and allowing the table to feel visually appropriate alongside garden planting, open sky and natural ground surfaces. Chamfered edges soften the teak profile, creating what Minotti describes as a measured relationship between rigour and lightness that holds the two materials in balance.
