Milan Design Week 2026-
Light As Medium
Via Giuseppe Rovani, 20, Milan
For Milan Design Week 2026, Bocci presents Light as Medium, an exhibition of new and reconfigured works by Omer Arbel, curated by David Alhadeff. The Bocci Milan apartment is transformed into a gallery, with each room dedicated to a single installation created specifically for the exhibition.
Working from existing Bocci series, each piece is developed as a fixed installation. Familiar glass elements are combined, scaled, and arranged into one-off environments that use light to shape each room. Some installations form large gestures that fill entire spaces, while others create more intimate reflective settings.
Moving through the apartment, visitors encounter a sequence of distinct works unfolding from room to room. Together, the installations form a cohesive exhibition in which light defines the atmosphere across the space. Each work is realized as a complete composition.
Available upon inquiry.

Bocci is a multidisciplinary design studio, research lab, and factory built around the core design principles of Omer Arbel. They explore novel production methods, allowing materials to respond according to their inherent properties, unveiling the hidden potentials within glass, metal, concrete, fire, electricity and others.
Cam Studio, founded by Carla Muñoz in 2018 after 20 years of experience in high-end furniture and design, is the Bocci dealer.
“As an architect, I value trade relationships; like Cam Studio, based on quality of product, knowledge of team, reliability of service and design aesthetic. Carla Munoz and her team excel on all fronts and service clients in Texas as well as internationally. I’ve worked with her on many projects over the course of twenty years and exceptional customer service remains an art for her. Highly recommend.”
