The idea of an enveloping net that offers comfort and protection inspired the Amii seating system by Nendo. Conceived for outdoor spaces, it is a perfect example of design that combines aesthetic appeal and functionality.
Amii stands out for its woven cord panels that define its harmonious S-curved backrests and armrests, seamlessly integrated with cushions of various shapes and sizes.
The system is characterised by its compositional freedom: the low-backrest configuration is perfect for social occasions, while the version with high backrest sets a more private and cosy mood.
The woven cords of Amii also appear in the frames of coffee tables and storage ottomans, enriching the project and making it ideal for open-air living.
