Laurel, designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri, reinterprets the Californian Mid-Century spirit through clean lines and a bold personality, emerging as a contemporary and distinctive project.
The shell – available in wood veneer or upholstered in leather – embraces the seat and back cushions, defined by tailored stitching, and rises naturally to support the soft padding of the armrests.
Behind Laurel’s elegance lies the sophisticated manufacturing expertise of the brand made up of gestures and sounds that mark the rhythm of the artisanal process. In the leather version, the shell is crafted using high-end leather-goods techniques, through the skillful combination of sections that fully cover the structure, joined by impeccably precise vertical seams and enhanced by couture-inspired detailing.
The sinuous profile, tone-on-tone dyed and wrapped in a full-grain leather band, is hand-finished and refined in every aspect; meticulously calibrated joints ensure seamless continuity between surfaces and volumes.
The back, with its strong identity, is distinguished by a fabric or leather band – reminiscent of a martingale – secured by two lateral metal studs: a detail that recalls the world of fine leather craftsmanship and emphasizes the exclusive character of the project, also in the dining version.
Laurel features metal bases with bent spokes and a vertical stem in Chrome or Black Coffee finish for the swivel version, while the dining little armchair is supported by slender legs with a lighter, more aerial silhouette.
