Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27
An armchair with a clear Brazilian twist in which the rationalist design of Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 joins Minotti’s manufacturing know-how, bringing out the skilful and combined use of three different materials – leather, fabric and wood – for the seat, backrest and frame. Hence the name Trio.
This slender and aesthetically light, yet solid furnishing piece accommodates a sophisticated padded seat and backrest featuring exquisite craftsmanship, that meets the typical refinement of Brazilian cabinet-making in the multi-sectional woodwork of the frame.
The pleasant comfort of the seat and the tactile sensation provided by the polished armrests offer an evocative sensory experience, naturally echoed in the Trio Outdoor version designed for open-air spaces.
Technical Features

Structure
Weight-bearing, in solid ash with open-pore Licorice colour lacquer finish or in Canaletto walnut, stained Soft Brown with matt polyester lacquer finish. The wood is kiln-dried, crafted on CNC machines and assembled with dowel joinery. The wooden structure comprises a metal frame varnished polished Chestnut, Forest Green or Black Coffee colour. Metal shell coated in fire-resistant polyurethane foam with suspension provided by high-rubber-content elastic webbing, then covered with breathable heat-bonded fibre. Decorative stainless-steel screws varnished to match the finishes available for the metal frame are present on the legs of the armchair, near where they are joined to the frame. Tailoring of the cover features soft top-stitching.
Covers
Upholstery in fabric or leather is completely removable, by removing the frame. Black protective felt glides.
INFORMATIONS REGARDING UPHOLSTERY AND COVERSThe backrest and seat upholstery can be made in the same material and colour (fabric or leather) or combined with different fabrics or leathers.
