Porro expands the partition project developing the Glide system, which comes in different design solutions that can however be perfectly mixed and matched with one another. With their sleek yet materially rich design, Glide partitions are made up of large made-to-measure wings featuring an L-shaped metal profile that, painted in white, black, cuvée, moka or rosso antico, frames different transparent and non-transparent materials. Thanks to the upper rail, which leaves the floor intact for the sake of visual continuity, Glide sliding fixed or pivoting partitions flexibly offer different solutions to choose from or to combine together in eye-catching overlaps.
As an invitation to touch and to look at, Glide Shanghai adds to the expressive power of transparent glass the regular pace of metal slats painted black, in white cherry or heat-treated oak. The Glide Shanghai slats, applied at regular intervals onto the glass panel like handcrafted details, create a striped pattern with a striking see-through effect, for light and dark contrasts and an irresistible look and feel.

Iaco Design Studio
Iaco Design Studio is an industrial design company founded in 2015 by Giacomo Cattaneo.
In 2020, it supports CRS Porro in the engineering of the Glide sliding partition system, with which the company expands its range of action on the architectural scale of the project, in the name of an elegant dynamism.
The studio has its roots in the design district of Brianza, where the know-how deriving from craftsmanship and technological innovation are historically intertwined.
The close contact and continuous dialogue with all the actors of the territory have allowed the Studio to develop an unprecedented ability to turn the abstract idea into a tangible product.The technical competence allows the team to bring the project to light by following the entire process of its creation, with the aim of achieving an overall and coherent vision in each of their works.

Porro, a leading furniture brand founded in 1925 in Italy, approaches its centenary known for exceptional finishes and wood expertise. Combining modern technologies with traditional techniques, Porro offers a wide range of finishes annually updated by the Porro family and designer Piero Lissoni. This collaboration yields 16 wood options, allowing customers to personalize across Porro’s collections, exemplifying the brand’s commitment to quality and customization.
Cam Studio, founded by Carla Muñoz in 2018 after 20 years of experience in
high-end furniture and design, is the Porro dealer.
