Description
A coffee and side table with character. The Colin skilfully plays with horizontal and vertical lines, creating a design that balances natural stone solidity with visual lightness through carefully considered material layering.
Design by Stephan Veit
Designed in 2022 by Stephan Veit, Colin demonstrates sophisticated material interplay through its skilful composition of horizontal and vertical lines. This approach creates visual rhythm whilst maintaining functional clarity.
Natural Stone Tabletop
The tabletop made of natural stone can be used alone as an eye catcher, showcasing the inherent beauty and unique character of the material. Verde Bamboo stone offers distinctive patterning that makes each piece individual.
Optional Second Level
The natural stone top can be combined with a second level made of grey coloured glass. This additional layer disappears discreetly in the round frame made of coated metal, creating functional depth whilst maintaining visual lightness.
Light Appearance
The grey coloured glass level and round metal frame work together to make the table look light. This engineering allows substantial natural stone to appear to float, creating an elegant contradiction between material weight and visual perception.
Material Combinations
Colin offers flexible material configurations:
– Verde Bamboo stone with grey coloured glass second level and black coated metal base
– Verde Bamboo stone alone with black coated metal base
– Grey coloured glass with black coated metal base
– Alternative natural stone options including Avocatus leathered, Silver Paradiso, and Orobico Black
Versatile Function
Available as both coffee table and side table configurations, Colin adapts to various spatial requirements whilst maintaining its characteristic interplay of horizontal and vertical lines.
Perfect For
– Living spaces seeking tables with distinctive character
– Interiors appreciating natural stone as an eye catcher element
– Projects valuing the skilful play of horizontal and vertical lines
– Spaces requiring flexible configuration with optional second levels
– Contemporary settings where substantial materials appear visually light
Colin by Stephan Veit skilfully plays with horizontal and vertical lines, where natural stone tops combine with discreetly framed grey coloured glass levels and coated metal bases to create tables with character that look light despite their substantial materials.
