Lasvit Neverending Glory Palais Garnier pendant

Description

Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus designed the Lasvit Neverending Glory chandeliers by rotating the outline around its axis. The glass pieces are so large that the wooden molds needed for their production are exceptionally huge. Due to the complexity of the process, creating anything larger would be nearly impossible. Each silhouette represents famous chandeliers from five renowned concert halls and theaters worldwide: La Scala in Milan, Palais Garnier in Paris, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Estates Theater in Prague, and the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
