A sinuous aluminium ribbon begins at the armrest and flows continuously through the seat and backrest in a single uninterrupted line, resting on a flat, geometrically rigorous base set on ultra-slim legs. The dormeuse is offered with a matching Sandy side table, composing a self-contained exterior resting arrangement where form, material and proportion share a common language throughout.

The dormeuse form within the Sandy family applies the same continuous design gesture that defines the sofa and armchair, scaled and proportioned for extended reclined use. nendo conceived the entire Sandy range as a reinterpretation of the imagery of classical gardens, where the ribbon-form simultaneously references the natural sinuousness of the garden and the formal clarity of contemporary aluminium construction. The piece inhabits exterior spaces with lightness and character, designed for permanent outdoor use in residential and hospitality settings alike.

The frame is formed entirely in aluminium, combining weather resistance with formal precision.
