Torii Bold stands out due to the striking contrast between the large, softly rounded shapes of the upholstery and the delicate metal base structure supporting it.This seating collection is an evolution of the original iconic Torii design by Nendo Studio, maintaining the unchanged form of the backrest while presenting a more robust and compact aesthetic. The two families of seats complement each other by skillfully combining solid and empty shapes.
Description
The slender backrest features vertical quilting and piping in eco-leather or eco-nubuck, defining the edges of the upholstery with meticulous attention to detail and highlighting the refined craftsmanship.
The feet, adorned with delicate button-like embellishments, maintain the interplay of vertical and horizontal elements inspired by traditional Japanese manufacturing techniques, from which the collection draws its name. They also provide support for the upholstered sofas and armchairs.
The sofas boast a gently curved outline in both small and large sizes and are also available in a peninsula version. The armchairs are offered in fixed or swivel versions, with the latter featuring a curved metal base that conceals the swivel mechanism.
The ottomans, available in various shapes and sizes, echo the design of the armchair base. Equipped with castors for easy mobility, they add a relaxed ambiance to the living space.
